The Training

1 week late January, 5 days off, 1 week early February

Two immersive weeks of practice, study, movement, conversation, connection and plenty of room to grow — with five days of rest and integration between them.

The Namaha YTT is designed to explore yoga from many different angles rather than teach you one single way to practice or teach. We’ll study traditional foundations alongside modern movement, giving you tools to understand the practice more deeply and ultimately make it your own.

What We’ll Explore

Our 200-hour curriculum includes Ashtanga, Vinyasa, 7 Doorways, Yin, somatics, mobility, intelligent sequencing, anatomy, Sanskrit, breathwork, meditation, yoga philosophy, hands-on technique and alignment, practice teaching, cueing and so much more!

You’ll learn from a variety of local experienced teachers, each bringing their own area of expertise and perspective — all within the welcoming, down-to-earth environment of Namaha.

And just as important: expect self-study, personal growth, community, curiosity, laughter, friendship and a whole lot of yoga.

*Guest teachers and finalized dates/schedule will be announced December

Who It’s For

You do not have to want to become a yoga teacher.

This training is for anyone who wants to deepen their practice, understand more of the why behind yoga, explore its history and philosophy, become more confident in their movement and voice, or simply give themselves the experience of diving fully into something they love.

If you do want to teach, you’ll leave with the foundation, practice, and experience to begin developing a teaching style that actually feels like you.

Schedule

Training days generally run 8:30am–4:30/5pm and weave together morning practice, movement and technique labs, philosophy, anatomy, sequencing, practice teaching, meditation, breathwork, discussion, reflection and time to integrate it all.
