Kathleen Lefstad
Warm Vinyasa

Kathleen started her yoga journey at Purusha Yoga studio in San Francisco, CA over a decade ago. Within that time and throughout a handful of studios she has served as teacher, studio manager, and Director of a Yoga Therapy school; she has taught over 1,000 classes and still feels like her journey is just beginning. Kathleen is also certified in Thai Yoga Massage and is fascinated by the ways we can balance the flow of energy within the body through breathwork, focus, and intentional movement and connection. When she’s not teaching you will find this mom with her “wee people”, doing art, spending time with her family of friends, or exploring the great outdoors.

Yin Yoga & Sound Baths

My yoga instruction is about facilitating each person opening to their unique self and what their needs are. Then, to embrace and celebrate this truth to allow their best self to unfold. I’ve been teaching yoga nearly 15 years and practicing for most of my life.

I moved to Bozeman 12 years ago with my beautiful husband and puppy and have been enjoying the outdoor abundance that is all around us. I have 20 years background as a outpatient physical therapist, I have been a ski instructor, distance running coach, firefighter and National Park Backcountry Ranger. One of the highlights of my outdoor careers is helping to reintroduce the wolves to Yellowstone National Park.

When I’m not in the studio I’m working for Ghost Town Coffee Roasters or out on the trails with friends. I’m excited to share my practice with you!

Emily Ryan
Align & Restore Vinyasa

My name is Emily Ryan and I have been practicing yoga in all of its many delightful forms for the past decade. My yoga practice became my sanctuary for addressing the physical and emotional stress of being a small business owner. It allowed me to quiet the mind and strengthen my body in ways that I had never had been able to before; I had found my bliss! This past January, after 16 years I sold my business so that I could embark on the next stage in life. I was seeking a new journey that was better aligned with who I was becoming. In need of adventure and winter sunshine I traveled to Costa Rica and completed my 200 RYT, and I’ve been teaching ever since! I love teaching because it allows me to tap into my creativity and connect with so many interesting and beautiful people. When I’m not in the studio, I love hiking with my dog, cooking with friends and family, chasing the sunshine and traveling the world.

She enjoys strength-building practices that push the limits of both mental and physical capacity. Her classes feature creative and dynamic movement, with a focus on Vinyasa-based flows that challenge and inspire. Jess Geary-Cecotti
Studio Owner, Vinyasa

Ishvara pranidhana is surrendering the control of outcomes and placing trust in the higher Divine forces. I believe that everyone has a unique soul frequency. It’s what guides us through life, pulling us towards experiences, relationships and situations (preferred and not preferred), designed to reveal and illuminate more and more of who we Truly are.

In terms of yoga, the styles that call to a person, that in turn create their practice, are what allows the most alignment with their highest frequency. Giving ourselves permission to go with what truly resonates with us, is, in my opinion, the most important aim in life.

The flowery summation… flow with your heart, without expectations or insistence of how things are “supposed” to unfold.

I received my 200 RYT training at Bozeman Power My class style is a heated Vinyasa, designed to guide practitioners inward to tap into their unique power, intuition and flow with life. I teach how I like to practice; A fun well rounded flow, with functional movement linked with breath, opportunities for expansions/arm balances/inversions, uplifting music and a true focus on finding the space to align with the Highest Self.

Anne Gagne
Vinyasa

I teach heated Dynamic Fluid Flow Vinyasa, offering a welcoming and transformative experience that's both playful and supportive. My classes invite individuals of all levels to release stress, move intuitively, and deepen their self-connection.  Movement has always been my medicine, but discovering yoga profoundly deepened my body-mind connection. After facing the hectic and burning pace of business ownership, which left me disconnected, yoga became my sanctuary and guiding light back to my true self. With a decade dedicated to my personal practice, I deeply understand its power to guide through life's challenges. Now certified to share this passion and embark on my next chapter, I'm devoted to helping every student leave class feeling more grounded, confident, and embraced by a supportive, non-judgmental community. As I often remind myself and my students: "It's just yoga. We're not looking for perfection; have fun with it!" Join me to discover the peace that comes from flowing intuitively and listening to your inner wisdom, equipping you to navigate life's challenges with greater ease and resilience.

Brandon Gatlin
Vinyasa

Brandon has moved all around the country, but no matter where he lived he always sought out a yoga studio and felt more settled.  Practicing off and on through the years being in Bozeman and looking for greater balance and connection decided to take it further and got his 200 hr from Spire Yoga School.  In his classes you will find you can be playful, be challenged, and be comfortable with where you are that day.  Each time you step on the mat you are in a different place and need something different. He enjoys finding challenge in both the movement and the mind.  Looking forward to sharing our practices.

Kenzy Platt
Moon Salutations

Hi everyone! My name is Kenzy, and my yoga journey began in college as a practice that carried me through some of life’s more challenging seasons. Teaching wasn’t originally part of the plan, but over time, I found so much joy in sharing yoga with others that I knew it was something I wanted to pursue. I completed my 200-hour RYT in Sedona, AZ, at Powers Yoga and additional training at Bozeman Power Yoga. My teaching style is rooted in vinyasa flow, with a strong emphasis on chakras, lunar cycles, and embodied movement. When I’m not in the studio, you’ll likely find me behind the camera as a videographer at Montana State University, sitting in nature (probably near water), or playing with my dog, Finn. I’m so excited to share this practice with you!

Shoghi Dinyari
Hot Power Vinyasa

With a deep-rooted passion for nature and travel, I began my yoga journey in the beautiful landscapes of Hawaii, where I completed my first 200-hour yoga teacher training in Vinyasa.

The serene environment sparked a desire to dive deeper, leading me to India for an advanced 300-hour training in Akhanda Yoga—a holistic approach that integrates various yoga styles.

Through my teaching, I aim to bring the balance and inspiration I’ve found in nature and the joy of exploring the world to each class, guiding students toward their own sense of peace and presence.

When I’m not on the mat, you’ll find me soaking in hot springs or discovering new places and cultures, always in awe of the journey.

Cora DeSantis
Gentle Stretch

Yoga came to me in middle age. A life lacking self care caught up with me. After 4 surgeries in 3 years and much pain I found yoga as a simple tool for quieting the mind and alleviating bodily pain. It’s my mission to serve others and share this gentle loving and healing yoga practice with anyone seeking less pain and more love.

I received my 200 hour from the Spire Yoga Program in 2024.

Sylvie Skibicki
Heated Hatha Rise

I recently rekindled my relationship with yoga as an adult in the pursuit of stillness, drawn by the grounding presence it brought to my life.

The Asana practice can help to plant the seed within every one of us to create a union among all other sectors of our experience.

Seeking to deepen my own daily practice, I wound up in Kerala, India, where I completed my 200-hour YTT in both Ashtanga and Hatha yoga. My teaching reflects this blend of intensity and mindfulness, offering a mix of dynamic, heat-building sequences alongside opportunities for a more gradual, reflective flow. As I continue to discover my teaching style, I aim to guide students through a practice that builds strength and focus while allowing moments to pause, connect, and find calm amidst movement.

In my classes, the most important lesson is to listen to your body. Your body will tell you what it needs, and I want to provide a space where we feel safe to listen. I teach with a focus on intuitive movement and anatomical cues to help you discover what works for you.

No matter the reason for your arrival on the mat, just know you are welcomed with open arms, and I am so excited to potentially contribute to your yoga practice.

Lizzy Cheshire
Ashtanga

Lizzy Cheshire grew up practicing a wide variety of yoga styles, and still remembers the first time she was able to pull both her feet off the ground and balance in bakasana (crow) in her childhood bedroom. After dealing with injuries in her teenage years, she mostly practiced Iyengar and Yin styles through college. Eventually she found her passion for Ashtanga yoga, and completed her 200 hour YTT at New Vibe Yoga in New York, studying with Alex Schatzberg. She teaches a modified Ashtanga primary series that focuses on using asana to ultimately explore all 8 arms of yoga practice. When she isn’t on the mat, she is probably cooking, working on reviving her garden, or snuggling with her cat, Jinx.

Nervous System Reset

About 30 years ago, I found myself musing over the innate capacity every person has to heal and repair, grow and change, and, indeed, thrive. These musings led me to the studies and teachings of yoga and mindfulness meditation, which is where I landed and stayed. Why? because these teachings work.

I trained with TKV Desikachar, the son of Tirumalai Krishnamacharya,(Chennai, India), the pioneer of modern yoga, for 3 years and have worked with Gary and Mirka Kraftsow, in the Vini-yoga focuses on holistic, therapeutic, breath-work and Vedic chanting as a means to develop strength, flexibility, insight - all to develop a deeper knowing of the self and awareness of the connection we share with our loved ones, our communities, all sentient beings and the wider world and beyond!

I have done mindfulness training with Jon Kabat-Zinn and Saki Santorelli at The Center for Mindfulness in Massachusetts. (MBSR trained and certified) Sharon Salzburg, Ani Pema Chodron, Yongey Mingur Rinpoche (Tergar International), and several weeks with Thicht Nhat Hanh in Plum Village, France, have given me the teachings I rely upon when I offer classes, retreats, and workshops.

Over the years, I have taught hundreds of classes and worked with people of all ages (parents and newborns to elders in their 90s) and backgrounds in schools, businesses, health care organizations, and universities.

The great outdoors is where I love to be and if members of my family are with me and/or friends, that’s frosting on the cake. I look forward to meeting you.
